Green Commercial Cleaning has joined the Federation of Window Cleaners, cementing its commitment to providing the best possible service for its clients.
The company is now part of the federation, which was established in 1947 and provides information on all aspects of the window cleaning industry.
The move comes after the firm invested £3,000 in a new 80ft ionic window cleaning pole ensuring staff can carry out as thorough and safe a job as possible at every site they work on.
The new equipment will be used at various client sites across the city, including City Exchange and Trinity Wharf in Hull city centre.
Maxine Saffery, commercial manager at Green Commercial Cleaning, said: “We are wholeheartedly committed to making sure we provide the best possible service for every client we work for, and joining the Federation of Window Cleaners shows how seriously we take our work.
“With the new system, we have an even higher reach than before.
“The industry standard is now, that if a window is not reachable from ground level then a water fed pole system is used. This became the preferred method after the Working at Heights regulations 2005 came in. Staff undergo both water-fed pole and IPATH training, which means they can also operate the system from cherry pickers and scissor lifts too.
“We are a one-stop-shop for our clients. Rather than having separate contracts for cleaning services, i.e. regular cleaning , window cleaning and carpet cleaning, we can provide everything under one roof and on one monthly invoice.
“It’s much less hassle and messing around for the customer.”
Green Commercial Cleaning works for various major clients, including Hull Collegiate School in Anlaby, P&O Ferries and Kingston Communications.
