FM+ has been delighted to secure work with some of the region’s biggest business names in recent months and weeks – further highlighting the company’s facilities management expertise and wide range of services to customers.
Having established the new overall group brand earlier this year – which includes the award-winning Green Commercial Cleaning and Contract Flooring & Interiors (CFI), as well as Commercial Entrance Matting (CEM) and Sports and Leisure Surfaces (SLS), the FM+ umbrella of companies provides a wide range of services to customers across Hull and the East Riding and Yorkshire.
Customers are increasingly using all areas of service provided by FM+, and recently teams from both Green Commercial Cleaning and CFI have been on site at The University of Hull as developments take place.
This has seen them working with contractors Houlton, where 20,000sqm of vinyl flooring and carpets have been installed into two refurbished, three-storey student accommodation blocks.
Cleaning teams have also been on hand to provide builders cleans on site in advance of them being fitted out and used by students.
CFI have also recently completed a major contract to install new flooring as part of the Middleton Hall renovations, which will benefit see state-of-the-art facilities provided for the Schools of Drama, Music and Screen and are part of an overall £9.5m development which includes a new 400-seater concert hall.
FM+ has also recently installed flooring throughout the new £22m Wolfreton School in Willerby for Bam Construction, and was delighted to support telecoms giant KCOM in providing new branding for 450 cream telephone boxes across the region, installing posters inside promoting new initiatives and awareness campaigns of its offers for customers.
A contract has also been agreed with The Sewell Group to provide builders’ accommodation cleans during ongoing works at Hull New Theatre, which is currently undergoing a £15.9m makeover add another 200 seats in the main auditorium to create a 1,400-capacity venue.
This work follows on from FM+ showing its commitment to the region by joining the influential business group Hull Bondholders, and as the firm plans to move into new specifically built headquarters at Priory Park, Hull, following a near £1m investment.
